It’s a wrap!ย

So yep!

Con season is over! And it ended with a bang!!!!

A good one that is!

RICC was this past weekend and it was amazing!

I was super busy all weekend long… so busy I barely saw the con itself apart from walking an hour or so on Sunday!

I did get Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s autograph on Saturday, thanks to a good friend Javier Rosado and his wife Omayra. They bought the auto before the con and didn’t realize it was for Saturday! Since they were attending the con only in Sunday, they gave the auto tkt to me!

I was sooo soooo happy! That was the only autograph I actually wanted but with the  possibility of having to move soon, I just couldn’t justify spending $85 on a scribble! (Very special scribble! But still!)

So when Javier told me I could have it I literally danced up and down on my bed!!!! Lol

It was insane to actually get the autograph. There was apparently 400 people on his line and I had just 20 minutes before I had to be lining up people for the contest!

But thanks to very understanding people I was able to get the autograph! And I even got a hug and a kiss from Jeffrey!

If you know me, you know I don’t fan girl very often! I can count on one hand thebtimes I did it and this was def one of them!!!!

Of all people I never ever imagined I’d meet him and although I did quit the walking dead, I do have to thank the show. If it wasn’t for it I don’t think JDM would ever do signings at a con! So yep! Thanks TWD!!!!!

The costume contests, both kids and adults went well! Thank goodness! The after party was super fun!!!! I just wish I had more time tรด Hang out with friends!!!! But thanks ok!

I am actually con season is over. Even though I haven’t done many cons this year, I’m glad to  Just stay home and not have to worry about cons and costumes. (Even if I’m already planning ComiCONN in my head! lol FOXWOODS HERE WE COME!!!)

But for. I will just be home and relax with my pup!!!!

Oh… yeah! But I do need to fix my wings! And finish my scout!

Oh! And I need to work on my secret costume for celebration!

Oh well! There’s no rest for the wicked! Lol

Here are some of the pics I took this weekend.

I didn’t take many! Well actually these are all the picture I took hahah too busy to even get my phone out for a pic! Lol

And me! Busy at work!!!

Connecticut ComiCONN

That is all I have to say actually!
And I am not joking!
working at a con makes things a lot different then just attending one! We end up seeing and knowing things that, wanting it or not, spoil all the fun.
It’s also very stressful and exhausting.

So yeah!!! This is all I have to say about this weekend.

I am glad though, to know and hear that fans and attendees did have fun and enjoy themselves. In the end of the day it’s what matters most! Right?!?

And for me, even though I didn’t get to dress up AT ALL, it was super exciting to have organized my very first costume contest ever! Hang out with amazing friends!!!! Have some fun and some drinks and leave the stress locked up in a drawer somewhere on the con floor!!!!

I am so thankful for having such wonderful friends that knew exactly when I needed a hug!!!!

And now, that all this is over… I can’t wait for RICC in November!!!!

A few more pics!

Found these pics at the Con Men Facebook page. I kind of like the pic I’m walking!
It was NOT easy to walk at all.
I never were a gown like this and somehow I had the stupid idea that I could walk normally because of the petticoat. (Never were one of these big ones either)
Big mistake.
I have to lift it up to walk!
It annoyed me that every time I picked it up it make my flower stem all crocked lol
And honestly after a while my fingers hurt (I has to hold on it pretty right cause with the gloves it was very slippery! Hahahah
Oh the things a princess has to go through!! Hahahah
I wonder if the bigger petticoat will make it worse or easier to walk! Hahaha

Btw, it’s here! The new one has arrived.
The one I wore at ComiCONN had 3 hoops! This one has 6!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

I will do a test tomorrow and will post pics!!!
But for now… More ComiCONN!!!

I am officially a Princess :)

So it’s official! Yesterday was the 4th CT ComiCONN and I finally got to debut my princess Tiana costume after working on it for 4 months.

Yep! You heard it right! 4 months.

I’m definitely not 100% satisfied with it. But I decided it was time to take it out on the world! Then I can work on the kinks and things I think didn’t work.

I was highly nervous about the wig. But it ended up working fine even with some mistakes I made when putting it on! (First time putting on a lace wig.)

The petticoat is actually too small! I need a larger on for sure. Which will definitely look much better but be so much harder to walk around.
I need a 6 hoop one. The one I have has 3 hoops and I was already getting stuck everywhere and hard to walk among to many people. But it’s ok! As long as it looks good, right?!?

But besides all that it was AMAZING. So different being a princess than being a super hero. I always had a hard time trying to look badass!!! Hahahaha
But it was very very easy to just walk around smiling, and with princess hands! (I’ve been practicing!!! Lol)
And the kids!!!!
OMG their reactions were soooooo amazing and real it was touching.

A few little girls freaked out and couldn’t barely talk when they saw me. There were 2 little ones who couldn’t stop screaming “it’s princess tiaaaaanaaaaa” even when posing for the picture.
The other one saw me outside and the mother told me they were going inside and she threw a fit because she wanted to see me first!

So much fun to see their reactions and think that I am the real deal!!!
And one of the best moments was as soon as I got out of the elevator and a guy came up to me and asked me if I worked for Disney! ๐Ÿ™‚

I cannot wait to wear it again!

I don’t have good pictures yet. I’m waiting for friends to post up the ones they took!
But here is one. A bit too dark!!! But nice
